The Final Results

Been a bit busy and on holiday lately so skipping from week 35 to the final results of the Podcast Prediction League here!

Red Side of The Trent Podcast took the win. Having been in top spot since week 6, they cruised to victory despite getting 0 points for the final game as Forest lost to Chelsea.

In the individual table it was The Maradona of The Midlands who prevailed. A late tactical change to a Forest lost ensured nobody could catch him anyway, but even so his prediction came through to finish with an 8 point win.

If anyone is looking for tips for next season, then worth noting Red Side of the Trent updated their predictions the most often as the season went on.

Round 13 / Gameweek 35 Results (Palace Away)

A draw for Forest and a mixed bag of prediction results. Forest Women's Fancast have been having a tough time in the league but picked up a clean sweep this week bringing them level with the free-falling 1865 pod. Another strong week for FFTV takes them to joint 3rd with Talking Reds. Forest Focus made a small dent in RSoTT's lead. With the Leicester home game up next, it will take a brave player or team to move the points total before we go into the final two games.

With 9 points left to play for in the individual league, it seems like it's a battle of the top 3 who are separated by just 4 points, unless someone if brave enough to predict a Forest defeat against Leicester and the worst happens.

Round 12 / Gameweek 34 Results (Brentford Home)

No changes for Round 12 as nobody predicted for Forest to lose to Brentford.

Round 11 / Gameweek 33 Results (Spurs Away)

A clean sweep for Forest Fan TV as their resurgence continues. Red Side of the Trent extend their lead at the top of the table.

Round 10 / Gameweek 32 Results (Everton Home)

Unexpected performance and result. Murillo's last-minute miscontrol meant that Ross and Raf missed out on 3 points and a Maverick Bonus point each.

Nobody predicted a defeat, so it's a big fat zero all around this week. Things remain as they were, but with three fewer points to play for.

Round 9 / Gameweek 31 Results (Villa Away)

It was a defeat for Forest but a small victory for Forest Fan TV, who moved up from the bottom spot for the first time since round 4! Forest Focus the highest scorer's of the round to close the gap slightly on Red Side of The Trent.

Streaker bonus points galore in individual competition. The Maradona of the Midlands now has a streak of 6 correct predictions, as does Lee Clarke from RSoTT. Seven rounds left to play so at least 21 points up for grabs + bonus points.

Round 8 / Gameweek 30 Results (Man Utd Home)

Clean sweeps for Red Side of The Trent and Talking Reds this round, extending the RSoTT lead at the top. A good week for FFTV down the other end as they close the gap.

The Maradona of The Midlands increases his lead to 4-points in the individual table.

Round 8 / Gameweek 30 Preview (Man Utd Home)

Another week of confident predictions, with no losses predicted at all in this round as we face Man Utd at home. Overall 74% of players are predicting a Forest win. Talking Reds & RSoTT both looking for a clean sweep with 100% going for a win.

In the individual stakes Christian from RSoTT and Ez from FFTV are both in with a chance of a streaker bonus point this week. No other bonus points are in play this time around.

Round 7 / Gameweek 29 Results & Table (Ipswich Away)

Clean sweeps all round for the teams & individuals with Forest delivering a comfortable win at Ipswich. Therefore no chances to the league tables as no bonus points were available in the individual league this time around. Special mention to Chris from Forest All Over who has got off the mark.

Round 6 / Gameweek 28 Results & Table (Man City Home)

Red Side of The Trent move top of the league with their positive outlook on the City game. Three teams picked up zero points. Bonus points galore in the individual league table.

Round 5 / Gameweek 27 Results & Table (Arsenal Home)

Round 4 / Gameweek 26 Results & Table (Newcastle Away)

A big shakeup this week with Forest Focus moving to top spot and 1865 dropping away to 4th. Brucie & Matt D picking up streaker bonus points to joint Ross at top of the individual table.

Round 3 / Gameweek 25 Results & Table (Fulham Away)

Not a high scoring week for any of the teams. The table stays as it was but with the top two opening up the gap ever so slightly.

In the individual table, Maradona of The Midlands didn’t manage to make it 3 in a row. Ross from Texas sneaks to top spot with a maverick bonus. The next round has several players trying to make it 3 in a row, and I expect maverick bonus might be available as well!

Round 2 / Gameweek 24 Results & Table (Brighton Home)

First clean sweep of the comp for Red Side of The Trent, but 1865 still top the table. Delighted to be joint bottom of my own league in the individual table 😞

Round 1 / Gameweek 23 Results & Table (Bournemouth Away)

Only 4 people predicted the defeat to Bournemouth, which means Maverick Bonus Points came into play straight away for the top four players. A solid start for team 1865 in the team league table.
